Copper CDA 101 Products

Alloy Metals offers a range of copper plate and sheet stock in versatile CDA 101. Copper processing services including sheering and water jet cutting for near net copper shapes ready for machining and fabricating.

Copper Sheet and Plate

We offer high performance oxygen-free copper in several sizes of CDA 101 grade. Copper sheet as thin as .020" and .008" coil and plate up to 4" thick are available. We offer special shapes including forgings, billet, and copper bar stock as needed for our customers' projects.

CDA 101 Benefits and Properties

Copper 101 has the highest electric conductivity of all copper grades. This oxygen-free grade is used in superconductors, wave guides, electronic conductors, vacuum tubes, and glass to metal seals. This is one of the most widely used and versatile copper alloys, available from the mill in forgings, round and flat bar, tubing, sheet, plate, and wire.

Soldering and brazing capabilities are excellent, while different welding methods range from fair to good. Copper is highly valued for its thermal and electric conductivity, malleability, and resistance to corrosion. Oxygen-free copper is often used in the telecommunications, architecture, electricity, plumbing, heating, and transportation industries.
